Professional Experience

Freelance Health Writer - Clients include The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The Chicago Tribune, Health Day/Everyday Health, U.S. News & World Report, Healthline, Worth, Senior Planet, Cure, Kaiser Health News, AARP I am a freelance health writer and researcher with an MA in Health Advocacy and an MS in Health and Behavior Studies looking for research and writing work. My writing experience is geared to both a consumer and an academic audience. I worked for two years on the issues of overweight and obesity, which included the design of a social marketing program (academic), an obesity intervention program (academic), and the writing of a grant for funding for that project (academic). Health is my second career. I was an agent for high quality photojournalists for 25 years, 15 of which were spent founding, owning, and running my own small photo agency. Our work was published widely in magazines, newspapers, books, and advertisements all over the world.
