Professional Experience

I've written for everyone from Teen Vogue to Family Circle, from weightwatchers.com to iVillage, from the New York Observer to the New York Post. I do a lot of reporting for Glamour, and I teach a women's magazine writing course for mediabistro. As an editor and staff writer, I've produced content for 30-something women (at ROSIE) and teen girls (at ELLEgirl and Seventeen Prom). I'm currently at home mining my '90s diaries for teen angst and writing Young Adult novels. I also started a Teen trends site, iheartdaily.com. You can find out more there, or at melissacwalker.com.
