Course Details

Freelancing should be all about the work: finding jobs, completing assignments, and marketing yourself and what you do. But it's also about managing (and enjoying) your precious time.

Whether you're a photographer, graphic artist, copywriter, magazine writer, author or anyone else who wants to run a one-person shop in a creative field, freelancing is a 24-hour job and an adventure. This intensive, comprehensive seminar, designed to benefit a range of freelancers at all stages of their careers, separates the romance from the reality, and provides proven, real-world information and advice that should make you more productive professionally and personally.

In this seminar, you can expect to learn how to:

  • Accurately assess your strengths and weaknesses
  • Broaden or narrow your field of presumed expertise
  • Determine which assignments are right for you
  • Effectively get the word out to clients, colleagues, and companions
  • Market yourself through the fine and delicate art of self-promotion
  • Develop a set of workable guidelines and when to adjust your plan
  • Recharge and savor your free moments without guilt
