Course Details

Should you incorporate? What can you write off without getting arrested? Should you file quarterly if you freelance but also have a full-time job? What if you freelance only rarely? What if you're married? What if you're married to another freelancer? What if you work part-time?

Join us for a bagel buffet lunch at mbWest headquarters in West Hollywood, where you can pick the brain of accountant Morton Moscowitz. In over 30 years of accounting, Morty's been doing taxes for screenwriters, managers, journalists, and all sorts of others who have special tax needs. Learn what you could be doing to be taking the stress out of taxes and put the refund back in.

This lunch will consist of no more than 19 fellow media professionals, many of whom will ask questions you didn't think to ask. In a stimulating environment, you'll learn how to be your own human resources department.

Lunch will be served immediately: Bagels, lox, cream cheese, tuna salad, egg salad, garden salad, juices, and more.
