In a city with more magazines than you can count, how does one put together the strongest portfolio to land freelance work? And how do you go about getting your portfolio to the people who can hire you?

In this one-night portfolio review session, limited to 12 students, you'll have a chance to have your book critiqued and edited as much as necessary to create a tight, well-paced representation of you. Veteran magazine photo editor Stella Kramer will help focus and direct you toward the best places to make your pitch for work.

You will pick up important tips, a fresh eye, and a new perspective on your own work. You will also understand how to edit yourself, how to seek advice from friends and family, and what photo editors are looking for when they review portfolios.

Admission Requirements:

Please submit a brief letter of interest that includes a work history, as well as three images from your portfolio.

Students selected for the portfolio review will have the opportunity to present a portfolio of 12-15 images, in print form only (no 35mm or 2-1/4 chrome). Laser prints are acceptable.
