The Wall Street Journal, naturally, where the other shoe finally dropped on Thursday, as managing editor
Robert Thomson consolidated his control over the paper. His sweeping reorg at the top was headlined by the formation of a "triumvirate" of deputy managing editors running a newly centralized news desk with three directories: National, International, and Enterprise.
Matt Murray will run National,
Nikhil Deogun takes International, and
Mike Williams has been given the Enterprise team, which includes Page One and its famous A-heds and leders. They report directly to Thomson.
Mike Miller has been bumped up ...
