The Los Angeles Times continued to perform drastic reductions on its editorial side in the name of the bottom line, cutting the positions of 75 journos. Editor Russ Stanton announced the news in a memo, writing, "This is about 10 percent of our total staff and these cuts are comparable in scale to those made on the business side of the Times last week."
