Cuts Continue at Time Inc., Conde; Hearst Promotes Execs
November 21, 2008Once again, Time Inc. made the most noise on the layoffs front this week (although an increasing number of media companies are vying for that depressing distinction). The company's 1,000,000-circ Cottage Living got the axe along with its accompanying Web site, CottageLiving.com. Time Europe took a hit, losing more than half its staff, which was instructed not to leak any information. Editor William Green and senior editor James Graff were among the casualties.
