The Conan O'Brien drama finally gets sorted (we hope). He'll leave NBC with a fat paycheck and will be able to appear elsewhere on TV before the end of his contract. Still, Dick Ebersol, chairman of NBC Universal Sports and Jeff Zucker apologist, felt it was necessary to elevate the war of words, telling The New York Times, "what this is really all about is an astounding failure by Conan." Jay Leno will be reinstated in the 11:35 p.m-12:35 a.m. time slot, and the network already has at least temporary plans to fill the 10 p.m. hour....
The How to Pitch series is worth its weight in gold. In just the first month I'd already benefited enough to consider the cost of joining well worth it. -- Gaen Murphree
