Air America Shuts Down; Nielsen Business Media Prez Resigns

In a week when the Democratic Party suffered a political setback in Massachusetts, it also loses an ally in the media. Air America, the liberal radio network, files for bankruptcy and ceased broadcasting live shows Thursday afternoon. The station, which filed in 2006 but continued programming, will go dark on Monday. Charlie Kireker, chair of Air America Media, blamed the demise on a "perfect storm." More than 100 staffers will lose their jobs...
