W moves under the Conde Nast umbrella. Previously, the fashion bible had been part of the Fairchild Fashion Group, which will now focus solely on its business-to-business publications. Conde editorial director Tom Wallace will name an editor-in-chief in the coming months. WWD handicaps the field, throwing out names including T's Stefano Tonchi, French Vogue's Carine Roitfeld, and New York's Adam Moss. Don't expect any of the trio to leave their current jobs, however, especially given W's plummeting advertising base...
