NYT Mag Names Editor; Reichl Rebounds with Book Deal
October 1, 2010John Koblin reports that Hugo Lindgren will take over as editor of The New York Times Magazine. Lindgren is currently the executive editor of Bloomberg Businessweek after leaving his position as editorial director of New York (the place where former Times Magazine editor Adam Moss now calls home). Lindgren knows the culture of his new employer, having helped create "The Way We Live Now" section. The appointment is surprising since Bill Keller said he wanted to promote from within the Grey Lady after New Yorker features editor Daniel Zalewski declined the job. Lindgren starts October 25...
