Carine Roitfeld announces her resignation as the editor-in-chief of French Vogue. She's been with the magazine for 10 years and wants to try her well-styled hand at something new. Wonderfully, she has "no plan at all." One thing she won't be doing is taking Anna Wintour's job. Roitfeld will, of course, figure it all out. We all knew this day was coming at some point, but it's still a little sad now that it's actually arrived. She'll stay with the publication through January. Let the positioning to succeed her begin...

GQ loses two more staffers. Story editor Joel Lovell reportedly joins Hugo Lindgren at The New York Times Magazine, while Mark Healy moves to Men's Journal as deputy editor... Tina Brown grabs Michelle Cottle from The New Republic along with The Washington Post's Robin Givhan and Blake Gopnik. She also snags Maxim managing editor Brekke Fletcher... Mira Lowe resigns as editor-in-chief of Jet. Min thinks she was ousted by Johnson Publishing CEO Desiree Rogers... Is Arianna paying them in gold bullion?... Women's Wear Daily, which has been doing a lot of hiring lately, loses managing editor Richard Rosen to Newsday, where he'll assume the same position... Ryan Stern departs Federated Media for Glam Media... Charlie White moves to Mashable as a senior editor...

Larry King hosted his final show and it was awkward or bad or wonderful, depending on who you ask... Katie Couric, syndicated talk show host? That's the rumor Broadcasting & Cable is circulating. Her current $15 million per year deal with CBS ends next year... Erik Kuselias leaves ESPN to host a show with the Golf Channel. Morning Drive (ha!) debuts January 3...
