Changes could be coming to Meet the Press as NBC News head Deborah Turness, who is "fearless" in the eyes of the New York Post, looks to fix its flagging ratings. There are rumors that host David Gregory could be out and that super agent Ari Emanuel wants to install his clients Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski. The pair currently oversee MSNBC's Morning Joe. Another theory has Turness poaching ABC News' Good Morning America seer George Stephanopoulos, whose contract runs out in January. Meanwhile, the NBC rank and file are mad at their fearless leader because she's cutting staff in the Washington D.C. bureau. Antoine Sanfuentes, who headed the outfit once upon a time, is gone along with MTP producer Adam Verdugo. "Instead of getting better, NBC News has been getting worse," one executive tells the Post. "It's a mess."...

John Miller leaves CBS News for a job in the New York Police Department. He has been with the network since 2011, jumping between journalism and law enforcement before that stint. Miller, who follows mentor Bill Bratton to the NYPD, will work on the counter-terrorism team. "We have a lot of regard for John, we don’t like to lose him, but if it is to public service, and law enforcement, that he cares about, we don’t feel it is right to stand in his way," CBS News president David Rhodes tells Capital New York...

Neil Irwin trades the Washington Post for The New York Times. The Wonkblogging data journalist will team up with David Leonhardt as the paper of record looks to replace Nate Silver. Could Ezra Klein be the next person out the door? Meanwhile, the WaPo promotes Mike Semel to local editor and bumps political writer Peter Wallsten to deputy national political editor. Also, Ben Terris is leaving the National Journal for WaPo's Style section. The NYT gives Michael Barbaro the Gov. Chris Christie beat. He had been covering Mayor Michael Bloomberg... Politico hands Olivia Petersen the director of public relations title. She had been media and marketing manager after starting there as media coordinator in 2011...

GQ raids fellow Conde Nast publication Lucky, snagging the publication's senior digital projects editor, John Jannuzzi. He'll be senior digital editor at GQ.com and start in January. The site will relaunch in early 2014... Time Out New York hires Terri White as editor. She had been executive editor of Life & Style... Jack Dorsey joins the board of Disney, because the Twitter and Square co-founder clearly needs something else to do... And there are changes at  Colangelo & Partners PR, WPIX, and more...
