- January 28, 2014

As the senior vice president of ABC News Digital, Joe Ruffolo, who's also worked at AOL, MTV and CNN, knows that news happens every minute of every day. So delivering on those 1,440 minutes is essential for ABC News online. He's launched initiatives to help get that done by integrating live video, mobile and social media. "What really excites me and the things I've learned over all of these years is you have to have a great understanding of not only the editorial side of things, but the product and technology side of things," he says.

In this video, Ruffolo gives more insight on his day-to-day and recalls an important lesson learned as an intern.
