Ezra Klein poaches three more staffers from The Washington Post as Brad Plumer, Sarah Kliff and Max Fisher join Project X at Vox Media. "Fortunately, our reservoir of policy-oriented journalists is very deep,” executive editor Marty Baron tells the Huffington Post. But still, if you're a WaPo journalist under 30 and you didn't get an offer from Klein, you really gotta wonder. Meanwhile, no one wants to head Wonkblog, at least if rival Politico is to be believed: "The new Wonkblog editor will be competing with his wunderkind predecessor, the crowned king of political forecasting, a Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist and his paper's own economic correspondent."...

TV Guide fires editor-in-chief Debra Birnbaum as well as features editor Carol Dittbrenner. Doug Brod, currently No. 2, will move up to executive editor. That's the new top spot at the magazine. West Coast-based gossip writer William Keck and Bruce Fretts, a staffer in New York, are also out... The Atlantic names Anna Bross senior director of communications. The company also recruits Lauren Evans from The Wall Street Journal. She'll be associate director of business development for the AtlanticLIVE events team. And Defense One moves Daniela Fayer to associate publisher... Hearst Magazines promotes Eliot Kaplan and Ellen Payne to vice president positions...

The Ragin' Cajun is back. James Carville joins Fox News as a contributor. "James’ successful and storied career in politics over several decades is an enormous asset to Fox News," Bill Shine, Fox News' executive vice president of programming, said in a statement... Shannon O'Neill is the new president of the Travel Channel... CNN shutters CNN Latino...

Weather reporting is the new black. Even Gawker wants bloggers to write about what's falling from the sky. Slate and Mashable also recently hired people to fill that same role... Buzzfeed hires Ken Bensinger from the Los Angeles Times for its investigative unit... Slate taps Jordan Weissmann from The Atlantic.
