Bloomberg Politics Site in the Works; Katie Couric Back to Today?

Everyone is getting his own mini-site. John Heilemann and Mark Halperin look to give Bloomberg's politics unit a shot in the arm. The duo, who wrote Game Change and Double Down, will launch a site focusing on American politics and policy (and earn $1 million per year each for the privilege). They are currently correspondent at New York and editor-at-large at Time, respectively, and they both worked as political analysts for MSNBC. They will continue to appear on Morning Joe, but there is also a daily Bloomberg News TV show in the works that Heilemann and Halperin will co-anchor. It's all part of the master plan being created Bloomberg BusinessWeek editor-in-chief Josh Tyrangiel, who Bloomberg Media CEO Justin Smith appointed to revamp the network...
