Background: ParentMap, a Seattle-based magazine that covers all aspects of child-rearing, is the self-proclaimed "intelligent, trusted, essential resource connecting Puget Sound parents and community." This free publication launched in April 2003 and has been providing parents with the information "they need to be the parent they want to be" for the past 11 years, according to managing editor Natalie Singer-Velush. "We provide everything from intelligence on the newest parenting research tips to content around food and household organization to travel, crafts and activities for kids," she said.
