When Martha Stewart emerges from prison this spring, she'll discover—as many a boss has before her—that her rivals have been horning in on her turf. The latest is Chris Madden, the domestic goddess-in-residence at J.C. Penney, who's cut a deal with Hachette Filipacchi to launch an eponymous magazine in May. Considering the company's already rushing to get its new women's weekly For You out the door, a few more staffers might be necessary. Fortunately, they surely have some resumés from Martha Stewart Living already lying around....
