WSJ Spin-off Targets Young'uns, Seventeen Targets New No. 2March 9, 2007
Now this is what's we're talking about: Keith Kelly has the news this morning that The Wall Street Journal is planning to launch a new personal finance site aimed at "a younger audience." As potentially cringeworthy as that sounds (get the tone wrong, and the site could be useless, patronizing, or both), the good news is that the Journal expects to hire 30 to 40 editorial types to staff the thing. Dave Kansas -- a WSJ editor who was once editor-in-chief of TheStreet.com -- is going to run the site, which will be an independent joint venture with IAC....
