Another quarter, another decline in ad pages. This time, they fell 12.9 percent and even Standard & Poor took notice. This news, combined with fears about the state of the economy, led to a difficult week in the media world. Where to start? Playboy Enterprises, Inc. announced it will lay off 55 people and not fill an additional 25 open spots. Playboy will make a number of cost-cutting changes, including switching to a lighter-weight paper and cutting down on overtime and travel expenses...
