Welcome to the first Revolving Door Newsletter of 2009. After what was a brutal 2008 in the media world, here's hoping the last year of the Aughts turns out better. How are things looking? Well, the first week hasn't exactly been inspiring. Min published its annual five-year ad-page summary for magazines and found that the industry was down an overall 9.2 percent in 2008 compared to 2007, marking a decrease to levels not seen since 2003.
