After months of speculation, Ben Silverman is finally leaving NBC (news broken on Ryan Seacrest's Twitter account). The Reveille founder-turned-co-chairman of NBC Entertainment and Universal Media Studios will return to his roots, launching a new production company at Barry Diller's IAC, which Silverman described as "Warner Brothers meets BBDO." Silverman, who failed to return the Peacock's primetime lineup to its former glory, will stay on through the launch of the fall season.
