The war between Condé Nast and Time Inc. heats up. A week after the giant at 4 Times Square stole Michelle Myers to be the new publisher of Lucky and she subsequently recruited three people to join her, its rival hits back. Tim O'Connormoves from his associate publisher position at Vogue to the same spot at InStyle. (Given the two publications' relative levels of prestige, you'd have to think the Time Inc. brand gave O'Connor a significant raise to jump ship.)
