More Layoffs Come to Bloomberg BusinessWeek; OWN Shuffles Execs

Bloomberg BusinessWeekendures another round of cuts, although this one was much smaller than the 30 percent reduction that occurred after Bloomberg took over the book last year. Still, roughly 25 staffers are out after the financial company deemed their jobs redundant. Among those gone: Tom Lowry, Michelle Conlin, John Carey, and the entire art, graphics, and photo departments. David Carthas and Richard Turley (who's been secretly working on the redesign) join as photo director and design director, respectively. The whole affair, quite honestly, seems pretty ugly...
