Magazine advertising will continue to struggle for the next five years, according to a report released by media and information private equity firm Veronis Suhler Stevenson. The group predicts low single-digit gains and thinks many second- or third-tier publications in each industry will be forced to close. Surprisingly, there's little mention of the effect digital magazines will have on revenue streams, so it makes sense to take the entire report with a grain of salt...
