News Corp. wants to hire former Bloomberg LP chief executive Lex Fenwick as publisher of The Wall Street Journal. He was CEO of Bloomberg from 2001 to 2008 and has been at Bloomberg Ventures since then. Fenwick would replace Les Hinton, who departed in July during the News of the World scandal. On an unrelated note, News Corp. vet Teri Everett says goodbye after 12 years on the communications beat. Julie Henderson replaces her as senior vice president of corporate affairs and chief communications officer... Bill Hamilton jumps to The New York Times where he'll be national security editor. He was recently promoted to deputy managing editor of Politico... Anthony De Rosa tweets that Michael Wolff will be joining the Guardian stateside "to cover media, tech, publishing and politics." Demand Media loses three co-founders as Larry Fitzgibbon, Joe Perez and Steven Kydd are all gone.
