Background: It's hard to imagine that a magazine launched in 1939 could be as relevant and forward-thinking today as it was back then, but that's certainly the case with Glamour. For the past 74 years, Glamour's readers (young women aged 20-35, on average) have been turning to the publication for the news they can use in every facet of their lives.
"Glamour really covers women's lives in the broadest sense," explained Mikki Halpin, deputy editor. "A young woman's health, what she wears, her relationship, her career, the music she listens to, the movies she goes to, the celebrities that she follows, the real life stories that she’s interested in. It's a broad mission, but it's so, so focused on women."
