The hardest-working HR staff in the media business has to be the one at The Los Angeles Times, which continued to add and reshuffle staff while the rest of the media world slept off its collective eggnog hangover. (It's almost as if the paper is preparing for a change in ownership or something). In any case, the paper named former Sassy editor (not Jane Pratt, the other one) Mary Kaye Schilling as editor of its Calendar weekend section, and also reassigned reporter Erika Hayasaki as a New York correspondent...
