Michaela Apruzzese has been named associate publisher, entertainment of The Hollywood Reporter, the company announced today.
Apruzzese is currently the director of movie advertising for the Los Angeles Times Media Group, and before that, she was publisher of Law.com and National Law Journal and west coast sales director for the Robb Report.
She’ll start her new gig in early June.

New York â€“ Michaela Apruzzese has been named associate publisher, entertainment of The Hollywood Reporter, it was announced today by Richard Beckman, CEO of e5 Global Media, owner of The Hollywood Reporter.
Apruzzese, who currently serves as the director of movie advertising for Los Angeles Times Media Group, will oversee entertainment industry advertising across The Hollywood Reporterâ€™s media agnostic platform. She will assume her new position in early June and report to publisher Lori Burgess.
â€œMichaelaâ€™s rich array of advertising and marketing experience across print, broadcast and digital in both trade and consumer media will be an important asset to The Hollywood Reporter,â€ said Beckman.
â€œMichaela has had great success in the entertainment industry and with just about every other category of marketer,â€ said Burgess. â€œShe will be a strong addition to our leadership team.â€
In her current role at Los Angeles Times Media Group, Apruzzese is responsible for nearly $100 million in revenue through entertainment industry advertising and marketing campaigns for the Los Angeles Times and other Tribune properties across print, broadcast, digital and events. Previously, she was publisher of Law.com and National Law Journal and west coast sales director for Robb Report.
