Finally: PR To Get A Non-Reality Show

Journalists had The Wire (kind of); advertisers have Mad Men, but the most TV exposure PR pros have gotten in recent memory has amounted to Kell on Earth.

That’s apparently about to change, with the news that Grey’s Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes is developing a TV drama about PR crisis management.

The project, which is either untitled or called In Crisis revolves around the life and work of a “professional fixer and her dysfunctional staff”—inspired by the career of Judy Smith (who’s repped Monica Lewinsky, Marion Barry, Michael Vick, and more).

The NY Observer says that “the potential show is still in its infancy, but the idea sounds like something ABC executives might be keen on.” It’s got the potential to be like Law & Order without the cops, basically.

Finally: this picture is apparently the Shondaland actual logo, at least according to the production company’s facebook page.
