Fortune 1000s Are Hiring

We reported last week that by at least one metric, hiring demand’s been rising by about three and a half percent for the past four months. Now, the same company, WANTED Analytics, finds that hiring demand at Fortune 1000 companies is outpacing demand elsewhere.

Compared to a year ago, demand is still down by more than 20 percent, but through July, demand ticked upward by four full percentage points.

The sectors leading the recovery are hospitality, manufacturing, retail —and information. That sector’s demand rose by 12 percentage points last month.

Information? That sounds like a coupla you guys at least…
