Kalmbach Publishing Buys Discover

Discover magazine has been sold to Kalmbach Publishing, minonline reported today.

Kalmbach, which owns a stable of 16 enthusiast properties including Astronomy, will keep “key” staff members like editor-in-chief Corey Powell, though publisher CEO Henry Donahue will leave following the transition.

Discover has been on the block since May.
