Here’s a gig where fashion, entertainment and new media merge. The question is: are you up for the challenge? MTV Style is looking for a new senior editor to work under the MTV.com umbrella, and lead daily and long-term production efforts for the pop culture site.
Yes, building content around Katy Perry’s crazy red carpet outfits will actually be part of your job, but you’ll also be managing a team of writers, producers and assistants, while acting as the site’s primary liaison both internally and externally. Of course, you should be a fashion expert, as well as a skilled writer and editor.
To be considered, you’ll need at least five years experience managing a writing staff and building Web content for major entertainment and/or fashion brands. You should be passionate and knowledgeable about celebrity fashion, shopping and beauty, and comfortable conceiving and developing everything from blog posts to extended video segments. Interested?
