If you’re among the 12 million YouTube viewers of the hilarious tongue-in-cheek Christmas card video by the Holderness family of Raleigh, you’re not alone. This spoof on traditional holiday cards mentioned that Penn Holderness will resign from his role as local news anchor.
In the video his wife rapped, “The biggest thing is what happens next — as of next month, he’s stepping off the anchor desk. It’s the biggest decision of his life, he’s going to step off the desk and come work with his wife!”
All we can say is bravo for their ingenuity and not-so-shameless plug of their next venture, a video production company called The Green Room.
And on that note, happy holidays to all and to all a good night.
