Tina Brown is getting into the book world. The former editor of The New Yorker and current Daily Beast head honcho launches Beast Books, a joint venture with Perseus Books Group. The imprint will publish three to five books written by Beast contributors on a short turnaround in the next year. Could this be the new model for publishing? One person who's mastered the art of the quick turnaround is Sarah Palin. The former Alaska governor finished her memoir, Going Rogue, just four months after the book deal was announced, and publisher Harper moved up its release from spring ...
