Background: If Giorgio Armani and Karl Lagerfeld procreated and spawned a website for well-dressed, uber-stylish men, the result would most certainly be Details.com. And though the digital publication is established as a standalone outlet in its own right -- with more than 1 million unique visitors each month -- the site is still inherently committed to the editorial mission of its print counterpart, Details. "It's first and foremost a luxury, men's lifestyle magazine," says online director James Cury. "That luxury part is really important because we're not interested in bargains or sales; we're not interested in DIY. You're not going to see reviews or roundups of $300 suits. And we don't feel that we have to purposely try to be mainstream, or try to appeal to a wide swath of America. We can be cosmopolitan; we can be sophisticated. We assume a certain amount of savvy."
