Ellen Weiss is out at NPR. The senior vice president found herself in the news last year after firing Juan Williams. CEO Vivian Schiller keeps her job, but won't earn a bonus because the board expressed "concern over her role in the termination process." Williams supported the decision from his pulpit on Fox News, pointing out the evils of the liberal bias at his former organization, an opinion that has some in the media calling him a clown. And now we'll wash our hands of this entire ordeal...

Glenn Beck's Web venture, The Blaze, taps former Huffington Post CEO Betsy Morgan as president. The New York Times wonders how she can go from the left-leaning HuffPo to Beck's site, but Morgan says "I am a very apolitical person. I'm a business person, who is absolutely fascinated by brands." (Although she did contribute to one campaign.) Also, you'd have to imagine, money talks. The Blaze also promotes managing editor Scott Baker to editor-in-chief and recruits former Premiere Radio Networks President Kraig Kitchin as director of sales...

Newsweek/Daily Beast lands Ray Chelstowski as publisher. The former Rolling Stone/Entertainment Weekly man will be tasked with combining the two publications' sales staff. From the sound of things, that basically means goodbye Newsweekers, hello TDB crew... Tiger Woods and Golf Digest part ways. The gofler will need to find another way to make $1 million per year. We imagine he will... IMG sells The Daily to founder Brandusa Niro...

Rick Hirsch, a longtime Miami Herald journalist, is the paper's new managing editor... The Falls Church News-Press decides to give Helen Thomas a weekly column. The 90-year-old lost her last position in June 2010 after making a comment that many perceived as anti-Semitic... News of the World suspends assistant editor Ian Edmondson. His crime: Approving the hacking into Sienna Miller's voicemail account (or, cynically, getting caught doing so)...

MSNBC gives Ted Williams a job recording voice-overs for its Lean Forward campaign. His hire proves, well, something... Nancy Grace signs a new contract, keeping her on HLN for multiple years. The host had "serious" conversations with Fox Business Network before re-upping... Kathy Griffin leaves her life on the D List... Mel Kiper Jr. and Dari Nowkhah launch Dari and Mel on ESPN Radio. The weekly show airs Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon... And there are changes at Woman's Day, Bloomberg, and more...
