Reagan Arthur is the new publisher at Little, Brown. She replaces Michael Pietsch, who jumped to be CEO of Hachette late last year. "Reagan was born to the work of publishing, she understands it deeply, she possesses a publisher's relentlessness and charm, and she is hungry for more," Pietsch said about the hire. Arthur starts her new job on April 1. She had been running an eponymous imprint for the past three years that published Tina Fey and Elizabeth Kostova, among others. Reagan Arthur Books will close and its list will be absorbed into the bigger company. Elsewhere in the book publishing world, Mary Ann Naples will take over as publisher of Rodale Books in March. She had been chief of business development at Zola Books...

The New York Times recruits Rebecca Howard from AOL/Huffington Post. She will serve as general manager of video production, a category that is increasingly a focus for the publication. Howard earned her video chops while working as vice president of Fox Digital Studios. It will be interesting to see what she can produce with the resources of the NYT... Bernard Wolfson's new home looks a lot like his old one. The former Orange County Register health care reporter returns to the paper after spending more than a half decade in Paris...

Consumer Reports adds a host of names to the executive team. Former Prevention head Diane Salvatore is the new senior director of content strategy and delivery. Brent Diamond and Christian Nimsky are newly anointed vice presidents in charge of various important functions... Tina Brown decides to change the name of her company to simply News Beast (thanks!) and hands the title of national political correspondent to Dan Klaidman. She says he "is one of the best-sourced and most insightful reporters I've ever worked with..." Conde Nast recruits Tribeca Enterprises senior vice president Patty Newburger as vice president, special projects. It's a new position within the company, one that focuses on branding and content... Lisa Schwarzbaum leaves Entertainment Weekly after 21 years. The long-time film critic is taking a buyout from Time Inc...

Robin Roberts will come back to Good Morning America on February 20 after receiving a bone marrow transplant. Her face will be a welcome sight... Justin Timberlake lands a new gig as creative director of Bud Light Platinum. I guess, why not?... The Barbarian Group restructures, eliminating the executive creative director position and a dozen more... Could there be cuts coming to Critical Mass? Stay tuned to find out... And there are changes at Edelman PR, New York Observer and more...
