The Texas Tribune will hire two "Tribune Fellows" as part of a $1.5 million grant from the Knight Foundation. The fellows, who haven't been announced yet, will be responsible for helping the Austin-based startup "refine the economic model and also collect and disseminate best practices for people who want to do the same thing," according to editor-in-chief Evan Smith.
