They come from Salon, The New Republic and Travel Channel, respectively. "We're continuing to build an outstanding digital team of writers and editors at MSNBC, and we're excited to announce our latest additions, ahead of our launch later this year," director Richard Wolffe wrote in a memo. Presumably, more writers and editors will join the squad as managing editor Dafna Linzer continues to build out her staff. Linzer came to the site in March, leaving ProPublica to tackle the relaunch. And one more at MSNBC: Talking Points Memo's Benjy Sarlin joins the network and Hardball in the D.C. bureau...

Ryan Kadro gets promoted at CBS This Morning to senior broadcast producer. He had been senior producer there. Meanwhile, CBS News names Terri Stewart national editor. She was Northeast bureau chief... Al Jazeera America keeps on hiring, this time tapping Adam May, Lori Jane Gliha and Christof Putzel as correspondents for America Tonight. Former CNN executive producer Kim Bondy will handle the production side of the primetime show... Jake Tapper as soap opera star? Sure, why the heck not? The CNN anchor will make an appearance on All My Children, playing investigative reporter Spencer Phillips. But how will he prepare for the role?!?...

Brandon Holley is out at Lucky. Taking her place is Eva Chen, who had been consulting for the pub. No word yet on what's next for the Conde Nast vet. Meanwhile, the magazine giant shuffles publisher roles, as Connie Anne Phillips returns to the company and takes over the money side of Glamour. Bill Wackermann, who had been vice president and publisher of the lady mag, joins Conde Nast Traveler as executive vice president and publishing director. He had previously been associate publisher there... Janice Min makes a host of hires and hands out a bunch of promotions. Jeanie Pyun is officially the features director, while Nicole Breanne and Hilary Lewis join as social media editor and staff editor at, respectively... Inc. loses Nicole Marie Richardson, who has been with the publication since 2008. Most recently, she was executive editor, special projects at

Tumblr's media director quits. Mark Coatney, who was at Newsweek before joining the startup, wrote that it was a "good time" to go... Megan McArdle says goodbye to Newsweek and takes a position as columnist at Bloomberg View. She'll cover the economy, business, politics and national affairs. Newsweek senior writer Tony Dokoupil also leaves, moving to The Huffington Post loses Craig Kanalley, who leaves his senior editor position for the Buffalo Sabres. He'll be the NHL team's social media manager... Atlantic Media snags Politico's Stephanie Gaskell as associate editor and senior reporter at Defense One. That's a bunch of people departing Politico recently. Natural churn or something more?... And there are changes at The New York Times, GetGlue and more...
