David Zinczenko scores another gig, joining ABC News as the nutrition and wellness editor. According to network president Ben Sherwood, "he'll appear on all our programs and platforms, helping our audience understand the whole picture of healthy living, from diet to exercise to sleep." Zinczenko, who has a long history of opining about health and fitness in various publications, is currently the editorial director of Men's Fitness. Where does he find the time? No, seriously, his work rate is impressive. If nothing else, that alone qualifies him to spout off about healthy eating and sleep cycles...

Abby Huntsman joins MSNBC's The Cycle as a co-host. She had been at HuffPost Live, which also recently lost Alicia Menendez who moved to Fusion... CNN recruits ABC News White House and senate reporter Sunlen Miller as national correspondent... Sara Murray moves from the Congressional beat to the video team at The Wall Street Journal. She'll be a multimedia producer and full-time anchor/reporter... Baba Shetty returns to the agency world, taking a position as chief strategy and media officer at DigitasLBi. He had most recently been CEO of Newsweek/Daily Beast but once worked at Hill Holiday and Fallon...

Fortune snags former Wired digital director Tim Leong as design director. He takes over for Emily Kehe, who left for People Stylewatch... The Chicago Sun-Times lays off 14 production staffers. That comes on the heels of the publication jettisoning its entire roster of photographers... Jon Cohen leaves the Washington Post where he had been polling director for a job as vice president of research at Pew Research Center... The Lonely Planet will cut staff and move its digital operations to Nashville. The moves come a few months after NC2 purchased the travel guides from BBC Worldwide...

Gawker hires J.K. Trotter as a gossip reporter. "I'm just very, very happy for the opportunity to work with John [Cook, editor-in-chief], whose work I've followed for a long time, and everyone else at Gawker, who have been really nice (so far)," he wrote to the New York Observer. Additionally, Leah Beckmann jumps from associate editor to assistant managing editor and night editor Taylor Berman is a new staff writer... LivingSocial is laying off 30 staffers, releasing a number of part-timers, and closing its New York office a month after shutting down the Seattle one. It is "not a cost cutting effort," according to company spin, but it sure sounds like one... And there are changes at Clear Channel Outdoor, Latina Media Ventures and more...
