The transformation of Budget Living from a stylish cheapskate's bible into a mainstreamed shopping magazine is becoming a bit clearer every day, although the consequences for the staff are still hazy. Things came to a head this week after rumors circulated that acting editor Alex Bhattacharji was considering following his predecessor and close friend Sarah Gray Miller out the door. The rumors turned out to be true--he's leaving in mid-July, and his replacement is exactly the sort of corporate lifer the hard line budget livers had feared: ex-InStyle and ex-Shop Etc. editor Angela Matusik....
