Judith Miller is out of jail, so no need to send that care package. The Times' story on her release today uses some unknown sources, so it's obvious we've all learned a valuable lesson.

So much for an orderly transition at Jane. Creative director Johan Svensson, fashion director Sciascia Gambaccini and designer Jackie Munz are all gone, and stalwart managing editor Debbie McHugh quit to take over Aspen magazine. But the new, practically-more-Jane-than-Jane editor-in-chief Brandon Holley is importing Sara Lyle from Budget Living as a senior editor, and expect more replacements ...
