Don't try Jeff Zucker's career path at home, kids. The newly-minted CEO of NBC Universal -- whose predecessor was wondering whether to promote him or fire him just a few weeks ago, according to Nikki Finke -- has proven to be a model in failing up. Zucker has won everything he's put his mind to, at least since college (when he beat out now-VH1 programming chief Michael Hirschorn to be president of the Harvard Crimson), including taking over Today at an absurdly young age and ascending through the ranks after that. Sure, NBC fell into fourth place ...
