Details

HTML is the essential language of the Web. Using a simple system of tags, HTML describes to browsers the structure and appearance of Web pages.
 
In this class, you will learn how to:
  • Understand the basic structure of HTML
  • Identify the most commonly used tags
  • Create web pages with images and hyperlinks
  • Create a basic cascading style sheet (CSS)
By the end of class, you will have: 
Hands-on training in the fundamentals of HTML, and an understanding of how to use HTML tags to build a website.

Admission Requirements:
Photoshop experience is helpful but not required.

Note: We recommend using Adobe Dreamweaver to complete assignments. You can download a free 30-day trial at adobe.com. Email us with questions.

The online classroom has several components:
  • Lessons: Learn new skills through video-based lessons
  • Discussions: Join a weekly live, interactive discussion via IM and video
  • Assignments: Complete homework and receive instructor feedback
  • Forums: Exchange resources, meet peers, and ask your instructor questions
