In this class, you’ll learn how to create and customize a profile that will help the right people find you, how to reach out to leads and contacts, how to cultivate online relationships, and how to use LinkedIn’s tools to enhance your current career or work on a job search.

In this class, you will learn how to:

Build a strategic profile on LinkedIn using keywords and SEO techniques
Find new contacts and build relationships
Research people and companies
Use LinkedIn's tools to achieve your goals

By the end of class, you will have:

A clear, targeted LinkedIn profile and presence and a plan for achieving your career and research goals via LinkedIn.

The online classroom has several components:

Lessons: Learn new skills through video-based lessons
Discussions: Join a weekly live, interactive discussion via IM and video
Assignments: Complete homework and receive instructor feedback
Forums: Exchange resources, meet peers, and ask your instructor questions

Instructor

Delia Camasca specializes in talent acquisition, recruiting for NBC Universal, Disney ABC Media Networks, Lifetime Networks, and Warner Brothers/DC Comics. She has served as a consultant for DataXu, an advertising media technology company, and is currently consulting for HBO. She's recruited all levels of marketing, new media, advertising, editorial, news, journalists, broadcast and cable production staff and creative professionals.
